Description The stretch breath is physically beneficial, in that it helps to increase the vital capacity of the breath and it also tends to intensify the prana in the breath stream which subsequently becomes available to outer or inner attunement.
Pattern Inhale through the nose (both nostrils) and exhale through the mouth.
An alternative pattern, inhaling and exhaling through the nose (NN), requires more discipline and would be more appropriate for an inward orientation
Breath... in Sanskrit... is called prana which means the very life. It spreads life and magnetism in all parts of the body, for breath in itself is life and is magnetism.
