Main Floor: • six bedrooms with two twin beds and private bath • lounge with fireplace, comfortable furniture and outdoor deck
Top Floor: • four large bedrooms, each with three single and one double bed • each room has a 2 piece bath, shower room, extra sink in the main room, small table and four chairs. • a mezzanine lounge which overlooks the main lounge
NB. These top floor rooms are perfect for friends who wish to room together. Otherwise they will be assigned as double occupancy.
There is an elevator to all floors and the bedroom wings are closed off from the public areas with heavy doors for privacy.
NB Please indicate on the registration form who you wish to room with if you have a preference.
We will have our own chef who we hear is excellent. There will be a set menu with vegetarian and gluten free options so we ask that you take care to indicate your preferences on the registration form and let us know if you have any food allergies.
Each day after lunch we will leave time for rest or recreation in nature. Canoes will be available on a user pay basis of $25 per canoe per day ($12.50 per person for two). Please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in canoing so we have some idea of numbers. There is a forty minute forest walk right from the Lodge and a network of longer trails if you are a jogger. Benches are nestled along the lakeside trail and lake-shore.
Loon Lake Lodge is an hour drive from Vancouver and forty minutes from Abbotsford International Airports. Please indicate how you will be traveling to the retreat. Once we know who is arriving by air we will circulate information about getting from the airport to Loon Lake Lodge. Please indicate who you will be traveling with and provide us with your travel itinerary.
